There are any number of harrowing details and tragic figures depicted within “League of Denial”, but few are as sympathetic as Dr. Bennet Omalu, a Nigerian neuropathologist who performed the autopsy on Hall of Fame center Mike Webster and was among the first to sound the alarm of the connection between brain disease and football.

Not only did the league publicly deride his research and in one case demand a retraction of his findings, but they pretty much suggested he was doing the work of a witch doctor.

Ooooohhhh, that’s so evil.
