Tom Brady’s Touchdown Streak Is Over

Tom Brady came into Week 5 only trailing Drew Brees’ 54 consecutive games streak with a touchdown record by two. Back when Brees’ streak was snapped last November against the Falcons, many just assumed that Dreamboat would easily eclipse it. Haha, nope. Brady’s streak came to a end today in Cincinnati in a 13-6 loss to the Bengals.

And, oh, how close he came to getting that necessary touchdown. Midway through the fourth quarter, Brady hit Danny Amendola inside the five, but Amendola was touched down inside the one. That gave New England a first and goal. The Patriots couldn’t run it in and two Brady pass attempts fell incomplete. The second of which just squirted out of Julian Edelman’s grasp.

Brady finished 1-12 to end the game. Dan Dierdorf made sure to blame it on the rain (yeah, yeahhh) because that’s the star f*cker thing to do.
