TV GIFs Of The Week (And The Best Of Tim From BBC’s ‘The Office’)

You’d think a three-hour movie, “without rhyme or reason or progression,” to quote Film Drunk Vince’s must-read review, that takes 50 minutes of WACKY shenanigans and intolerable exposition to really begin would be a critical darling. And yet, The Hobbit currently owns a 65% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. That’s what happens, P-Jacks, when you don’t give the people what they want: the Cumberbatch.
But despite the mediocre reviews for the film as a whole, Martin Freeman, who plays reluctant protagonist Bilbo Baggins, has been receiving mass plaudits for his work. It’s about time he was cast in a film series that’s going to make approximately $17 billion, too, because Freeman’s been killing it on TV for years now, most recently as Dr. Watson in BBC’s excellent Sherlock and, well before that, Tim Canterbury in the original The Office.
Due to the show only lasting 13 episodes, Tim never became the asshole that Jim is in our Office, despite possessing the same sardonic slacker personality traits. I guess a show not running for nine seasons has its advantages after all. Anyway, today’s GIFs post is dedicated to Tim. Enjoy.
