Vanilla Ice To Perform At Texans’ ‘White Out’ Game

The Houston Texans have a theme for each of its home games this season, including a “homecoming” game later in the year. This coming Sunday, Houston is having a “white out” game for their home opener against the Titans. I presume this means all fans are encouraged to wear white and not that white people will be forcibly removed.

In fact, rather than remove the white people, the Texans are making it all about whitey, as Vanilla Ice will provide the halftime show. Go ninja, go ninja, etc.

The team had Brian Cushing make the official announcement in a video, which is appropriate/ironic/funny/sad all at once. If he’s good enough for the Ninja Turtles, he’d good enough for the Texans.

Uncomfortable the concept may sound, I will say smart move by the Texans to get this theme out of the way before they host the Patriots later this season. All that white would just make New England feel at home.
