Russell Crowe Sings Les Miserables With Screaming Goats In ’30 Odd Foot Of Goats’

Up until now, I thought the best thing to come out of Les Miserables was my review set to the tune of Smash Mouth’s “All Star.” But I’m humble enough to play second fiddle to these farm animals screaming along to Russell Crowe’s performance of whatever Les Miserables song this is. I don’t know if this was meant to make fun of Russell Crowe’s singing, but for the record, I thought Crowe’s boomy sandwich throat was much easier to listen to than Hugh Jackman’s nasal cat vibrato.

The idea is actually a little better than the execution on this one (it’s not nearly as well edited as the goats screaming the Game of Thrones theme, for instance), but screaming goats are still batting a thousand when it comes to making me laugh so hard I nearly dry heave. I’d love to see a better edited version of this. In fact, I’d like to see the screaming goats sing everything with Russell Crowe. “30 Odd Foot of Goats,” they could call it. If Russell Crowe went on tour with 30 Odd Foot of Goats, I’d follow them from city to city like Deadhead. And I bet I could sleep with the goats after every show for a year and still smell better than a Deadhead.
