“Old Man Drives Through Garage Door” is less of a headline and more of a description of daily life in Florida retirement communities. But there’s a twist in this case: The old guy did it on purpose, and not in an attempt to kill the imaginary terrorists hiding on the other side of the door.
In this case, crashing through the garage was on 91-year-old Walter Thomas’ bucket list, and his grandkids helped make it happen by finding a junker 1998 Isuzu Rodeo and soon-to-be replaced garage to destroy. The look on the elderly man’s face after he reversed through the wood paneling will warm your heart, and hopefully inspire you to help the old people in your life cross similarly ridiculous items off their bucket lists.
