This Fun Couple Shot A One-Take Music Video At Their Wedding Reception With All Of Their Guests

Weddings are fun, for a while. After an overly-long service, you head into the thunderdome of small talk, all the while hoping that there’s enough alcohol and that the favors won’t be Jordan almonds (87 percent chance that it will be). However, by the time the Electric Slide starts up, people usually start to get restless.

Well, Robert and Teresa Ly decided to combat any wedding toast-induced boredom by including all 250 of their guests in their epic wedding video. Instead of doing the traditional recording of the ceremony and a smattering of guests at the reception, they decided to film an epic music video in one take. While this may have been a nightmare for wallflowers, this is a pretty brilliant way to get everyone involved and excited and the reception. Opening with “Love Is an Open Door” from Frozen, the group lip-synced their way through a number of top 40 hits, including “Gangnam Style” by Psy, “Shots” by Lil Jon, and “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran. Sure, the whole thing is a little gimmicky, but everyone looks like they’re having a genuine good time. Plus, rewatching this  wedding video will be way more fun than one that involves a bunch of hymns and crying.

The real heroes here are the guys pretending that soy-sauce bottles are liquor. That is true dedication to the craft.
