You’d think given Aldon Smith’s eventful off-season and the Ray McDonald drama and the Harbaugh trade rumors that the 49ers season would actually be calmer as the playoff hunt heats up. But you’d be wrong. Way wrong. First, there was last night boring, grinding game in which the Seahawks had little trouble making the 49ers offense look horrible. That would, normally, be enough for any team to be embarrassed, especially given the game came at home on Thanksgiving night. But this is the 49ers and they had some more Thanksgiving gifts in store for us.
Shortly after the game, the outspoken team CEO Jed York, who has totally denied any rift between him and his coach, took to Twitter to publicly apologize to fans for the shitty performance from his team.
Thank you #49ersfaithful for coming out strong tonight. This performance wasn't acceptable. I apologize for that

Okay, cool. Sorry you guys have to spend the most money of any fanbase in the NFL to attend a football game at a new, hugely expensive and yet really boring stadium almost an hour outside of the city the team is named after and they keep shitting the bed. Thanks, works for us, Jed.
But 49ers Twitter wasn’t done. Not at all. After another poor performance by the 49ers offense, even Cassie Baalke, the teenaged daughter of 49ers GM Trent Baalke, was calling for the head of 49ers OC Greg Roman instead of tweeting something about her food coma or lines at Target or “Frozen” or whatever the kids tweet about these days.
THAT IS ONE PIPING HOT TAKE. And the emoticons? NEXT LEVEL. YOUR MOVE, STEPHEN A.
As the playoff hunt awaits, we’ve now reached Peak 49ers. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
