There’s a lot of crazy sh*t that goes down behind the prison walls of Orange Is The New Black. The “relationship” between Piper and Crazy Eyes alone comes with more than a few memorable moments (“I THREW MY PIE FOR YOU!”) and don’t even get me started on Pornstache.
But what if the whole show was reimagined as a feel-good ’80s sitcom like The Golden Girls? One video editor named Rob Jones “mashed up” the two shows to find out, and above is its quirky, heartwarming opening credits.
For what it’s worth, I believe The Golden Girls in Litchfield could’ve made for some solid TV. Being an avid fan of the show, I fondly remember one episode where Betty White & co. were jailed for alleged prostitution and it was pretty funny.
