This Woman Proves Why You Should Never Trust Your GPS Completely While Driving

The things people will do to get somewhere faster, am I right? An Ontario woman accidentally drove her car into a lake after trusting her car’s GPS navigation a little too much. On an apparently foggy night that made it tough to see the road in front of her, the unidentified woman didn’t see that she was driving right down a boat ramp into multiple feet of water. As Mashable pointed out, there are many obvious reasons why this woman does not want to be identified. That is all well and good but there are so many questions to be answered here and without a first hand account of the incident there is so much is still up in the air. Lovely people of Ontario, if you know somebody who seems pretty embarrassed and is also missing her car please do let us know.

Fortunately, we can poke a bit of fun at the situation because the driver escaped the car safely and even managed to grab her purse on the way out of the car. So even if the car itself is ruined, everyone can hope she has proper car insurance and then proceed in laughing at how somebody could possibly be so beholden to their technological guidance that they don’t realize they are in a lake.
