As in, we’re kind of expecting a lawsuit or two, having seen this new trailer. On the other hand, Perseus, unlike Kratos, is actually remotely sympathetic, so that’s probably a good thing.
The first “Clash of the Titans” was a pretty unnecessary remake that nobody liked and it still made a fortune anyway thanks to Warner Brothers keeping it in as many 3D theaters as possible for as long as possible. The sequel, however, seems to actually have some promise. The effects look surprisingly good, especially compared to the kinda weak ones in the first movie, and some of those establishing shots have an almost painterly effect to them that looks good.
And there seems to be a lot of ass-kicking, that always helps. Trailer under the jump.
