There will be a lot of observances and outpourings of grief for the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary shootings, as there should be in the wake of that horrific tragedy. However, it also means Peter King becomes a media whore going through something emotional so as to make attempts at profundity. Whatever the scope of the incident in question, that’s never called for.

To help us cope with the inevitable disaster nuggets, a poster in the Sons of Sam Horn forum put together this handy Peter King Tragedy Bingo. It’ll provide needed solace when PK calls for SOMETHING to be done about gun control in America without providing any helpful or detailed suggestions.

In more football-relevant developments, the Redskins are starting their other rookie quarterback, New Yorker scribe Kirk Cousins, rather than risk further damage to the knee of RGIII. Can Cousins deliver more heroics from the bench in what appears to be a possible trap game in Cleveland? I suppose, though if the Redskins are to win, they will have to ride Alfred Morris into the ground much the way the running back is doing that with 1991 Mazda 626.

Also worth nothing that we are but one hit away with a reappearance of the Sex Cannon.
