Say word, the YouTube Music Awards are an actual thing! Apparently, the online video website will be airing its very first award show on November 3rd. Not to use bullsh*t PR jargon but this does sound like a “natural progression” for the Google-owned company, especially since Billboard’s tweaked rules gave PSY his first #1 record with “Gangham Style” thanks to 465943864486638 x infinity YouTube views.

On the hippity hop front, Eminem scored a nod for Artist Of The Year (?!) as did Nicki Minaj (?!!!) and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Kendrick Lamar picked up Breakout Act nod. Winners will be chosen by the stan group that loves their faves the absolute most or whoever 4Chan decides should win.

The show will stream live on YouTube (uh doy!) on November 3 from New York City’s Pier 36 and will feature performances by Eminem, Lady Gaga, Avicii, M.I.A, Tyler, The Creator, Earl Sweatshirt and Walk Off the Earth.
