Zion I, Why?

Gimmie. A. Break.

On the underground tip, Zion I have been holding down the Earthquake State for awhile. So why, after ten years of developing their own unique steez, do they have to sink as low as completely biting The Cool Kids?

The duo’s new single “Juicy Juice” might as well be the sequel to “Black Mags.” From the slow delivery to the slightly screwed chorus over the 808’s, it’s damn near identical. On top of the defined gank move, they even sneak in a Bo Jackson line, something eerily reminiscent of the The Kids’ playbook.

For better or worse, Chuck and Mikey have succeeded. As they say, imitation is the greatest form of flattery.
