There are new unfortunate developments in the Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt divorce story. TMZ is reporting that just one day before the couple separated last week, Jolie, Pitt, and their kids were aboard a private jet when Pitt became inebriated and “allegedly went wild, screaming and getting physical with the kids.” A source claims that when the plane landed around 8 p.m., Pitt continued to act erratically on the tarmac and even attempted to leave in one of the fuel trucks.

USA Today reports that no official investigation has been confirmed to them by any law enforcement agencies.

The actor, whose wife Angelina Jolie filed for divorce Monday, is under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services following an incident on a private jet, according to TMZ. Neither of these organizations were able to confirm the allegation or investigation to USA TODAY. Attempts to reach representatives for Pitt in Los Angeles were not successful.

However, People magazine this morning reports that it has confirmed that the Los Angeles Police Department and L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services are both investigating the incident.

The Los Angeles Police Department and L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services are both investigating after someone anonymously reported the incident last Wednesday on the tarmac, a source tells PEOPLE.

As we previously covered, Jolie’s decision to file for divorce was supposedly due to the way Pitt was parenting, and she is asking for sole physical custody of the couple’s six children.

Update: CNN reports that Brad Pitt did speak with Los Angeles authorities about an incident involving one of his children, however LAPD Officer Jenny Houser states that the LAPD “is not handling any report of allegations of child abuse for Mr. Brad Pitt.”
