More Off-Handed Brilliance From Stephen Curry With An Around-The-Back Lefty Layup

At one point last night, the 2015 Three-Point Shootout champion was captured by ESPN cameras shooting exclusively with his left hand as he warmed up to face the Spurs. He does all sorts of things in pregame, but after finding Klay Thompson with a deft left-handed dime, his off hand helped  him out again when he went around his back to avoid Spurs defenders on the break for a lefty lay-in.

So fun, and there’s some utility to what some might consider showboating for entertainment’s sake alone: Steph is avoiding the defense of Marco Bellinelli and getting it up over Boris Diaw’s hand with the move — something a lot of NBA players likely can’t do with their strong hand.

After scoring 25 points, dishing 11 dimes and committing only two turnovers — Mom’s out of luck — Curry can stick his tongue out as much as he wants.
