Video: Kyrie Irving Puts JaKarr Sampson On Skates With Killer Crossover

It is no secret Kyrie Irving possesses some of the most wicked, flashy, and lethal handles in the league today, and watching him send a defender into oblivion with one of his crossover moves never gets tiring. The 2015 Eastern All-Star was up to his old tricks again during the final quarter of the Cavs’ Monday night matchup against the 76ers. After the Cavs took a 20-point lead in the third, Philly fought back to cut the deficit down to three points with nearly seven minutes remaining. That is when the reigning Eastern Conference Player of the Week went to work, scoring six of the Cavs’ next eight points.

Two of the points during Kyrie’s run came off a masterful sequence of basketball at its best. Uncle Drew toyed with JaKarr Sampson on the perimeter by initially throwing down a series of smooth behind-the-back dribbles, then completely lost the Sixers’ guard with a nasty crossover. Irving then had a crystal clear path to drive to the bucket for the layup over three defenders:

Kyrie, who is reportedly joining the line-up for the Three-Point Contest at All-Star weekend this month, finished with 24 points, five boards, and five dimes (full highlights below) in Cleveland’s 97-84 win on Monday, extending their winning streak to 11 games.
