Chris Paul Loses His Mind After DeAndre Jordan Fails To Put Back Easy Game-Winner

Chris Paul had every right to castigate DeAndre Jordan in the closing seconds of regulation during their 98-93 overtime loss to the Blazers on Wednesday night. We’d be ticked off too if our 36-point, 12-assist gem at home — not to mention holding Damian Lillard to 1-of-13 from the field — was wasted because our center didn’t realize the game was still going on.

After Paul’s attempt to win it rimmed out at the end of regulation, there was still 0.7 seconds left, plenty of time for DJ to go right back up with the offensive rebound. Jordan even held the ball aloft, causing spittle to froth out of Paul’s mouth as he angrily implored DJ to SHOOT!

It didn’t happen and the Clippers went on to lose in overtime on their home floor. The difficult-to-handle home loss moved LA back to No. 5 in the West, one and a half games back of Portland and Houston.
