Dwyane Wade will get to witness yet another NBA Championship… but in a different role than what he’s used to. With the NBA Finals just two short days away, the Associated Press announced today that Wade will be in the broadcast booth during ABC’s coverage of the Finals. Wade will appear during the pregame and halftime shows of Games 2 and 3 between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors.
The three-time NBA champion will join ESPN on ABC for pregame and halftime shows during Games 2 and 3 of the Cleveland-Golden State series. Wade also will have the same arrangement for Games 6 and 7 if those games are played.
Given Wade’s history and friendship with James, he should be able to provide some interesting and in-depth analysis during the broadcasts.
