The Minnesota Timberwolves have selected Karl-Anthony Towns with the No. 1 pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.
Towns, a 19-year-old from the University of Kentucky, emerged as something close to the consensus top prospect of this class over the past few months. The skilled, athletic seven-footer averaged 10.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks on 56.6 percent shooting in 21.1 minutes per game for the loaded Wildcats during his lone collegiate season.
