It took double overtime, but the Golden State Warriors were somehow able to keep their historic winning streak intact with a 124-119 win over the Boston Celtics on Friday night. Stephen Curry led the way with 38 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and a pair of steals for the night. However, the Celtics’ smothering defense, led by Avery Bradley, made life miserable for Curry all night, hounding him into eight turnovers and just 9-of-27 shooting. Bradley finished with 19 points for the Celtics but fouled out of the game at the end of regulation.

Draymond Green was also huge for Golden State on both sides of the floor. He put up 24 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists and made arguably as big an impact on defense with five blocks and five steals. The Warriors were without Klay Thompson, who sprained his ankle in a win against the Pacers earlier this week when he went off for a season-high 39 points.

Kelly Olynyk was a monster off the bench for Boston, making several clutch shots in the first overtime en route to 28 points on 11-of-21 shooting. He was one of six Celtics players in double figures. Isaiah Thomas added 18 points and 10 assists, but was just 7-of-22 from the field, including 2-of-8 from downtown.

Next up, the Warriors will travel to Milwaukee to face the Bucks Saturday on the second night of their back-to-back.
