The Timberwolves haven’t quite hit the ceiling everyone thought they’d hit this year. Not yet, anyway. A popular preseason playoff pick, with highly touted new coach Tom Thibodeau in tow, Minnesota has a loaded roster of baby pups who are all growing up before our very eyes. While that hasn’t translated to success in the Western Conference through the early goings – the team sits at just 5-11 – it still leaves us with lots of fun, exciting moments that we can throw up on our Instagrams with a variety of “awww” and “look how cute” captions and a few of those emojis with the hearts for eyes.
On Friday that meant watching a Zach LaVine dunk on Alex Len over and over like that video of the Husky that sounds like it’s saying “I love you” when it howls. But Saturday was Andrew Wiggins’ turn.
The former No. 1 pick is averaging 23.5 points and 4.1 rebounds, and now he’s got another signature moment to add to his highlight reel.

That’s the face of a man who can’t believe what he just saw. It’s like McGee witnessed a dude pulling a whole bunch of seemingly unending scarves out of his pocket and at the end of the scarves was a live squirrel. But hey, watching Wiggins play sometimes seems like magic in the first place.
