The Minnesota Timberwolves aren’t going to be good next year. They’re too young, have too little shooting, and there are too many question marks surrounding the health of some of their players, including Ricky Rubio. But dammit if they aren’t going to be fun. Just look at some of the dunks Zach LaVine, Andrew Wiggins and Karl Towns are throwing down in this scrimmage. LaVine looks even more athletic (if that’s even possible), Wiggins looks as springy as ever, and as for Towns, no human being that big and tall should be able to jump as high and move as well as he does.
If the Timberwolves fulfill the immense promise held within their young, tantalizing players, they could be one of the best teams in the NBA a few years down the road.
