This Referee Signaled The Most Mesmerizing Traveling Call We’ve Ever Seen

Usually, it’s the players who entertain us the most during a game. Whether it’s a spectacular block, an improbable three or an in-your-face dunk, they’re the reason we tune in. The referees are not there for our viewing pleasure, but sometimes, they just can’t help it.

Take this traveling violation, for example. It’s flat-out dazzling. The way his arms move in perfect circles around each other, elbows locked in place and never wavering; his focus, straight ahead and determined; and the finish, oh my, the finish. Round and round his hands twirl, going faster and faster until they suddenly slow and his right arm extends slightly outward to signal the turnover.

The Atlanta Hawks and the Washington Wizards played a wild, entertaining game, with the Hawks winning 106-101. But, the irascible and hard-to-please powers that be might consider this traveling call the most hypnotic moment of the game.
