Chris Bosh has not appeared in an NBA game since Feb. 9, 2016. With that said, he is effectively retired from the league. However, this particular story has very little to do with Bosh as a professional athlete and much more to do with a bizarre circumstance that includes the former All-Star big man and his wife, Adrienne, being sued for at least $92,000.
That, as you can tell by the headline, isn’t the wild part, though, as TMZ brings word that Colette and Brigham Field are the ones bringing a lawsuit against the Bosh family. The Fields are best known for creating an adult film website. In short, the reported lawsuit (filed in L.A. County Superior Court) alleges that Chris and Adrienne Bosh rented a a mansion to the couple in Dec. 2016 for $138,000 but that arrangement went south because of “crazy toxic mold, leaks, plumbing issues and rat droppings” being found in the house.
As if that was not crazy enough, the lawsuit indicates that the Field duo “had to seek medical assistance for sickness and rashes that they suffered from the time when the mold could be seen and smelled” and this story is wild at every turn. Without comment from Chris and Adrienne Bosh, we don’t know a lot more about the circumstances surrounding the incident but the lawsuit apparently exists and this could be a developing story. Yes, this is as crazy as you think it is.
