It’s a good thing the Lakers opted to start 2015 first-round draft pick D’Angelo Russell for the rest of the season. Otherwise, who would make ridiculous half-court shots in warmups? (Kobe has a sore shoulder, after all.)
Yeah, Russell has some range. The sheer absurdity of the shot is mesmerizing. Of course, when you’re playing under Byron Scott, known three-point cynic, it’s more of a question as to whether you’ll be allowed to use that range.
