DeMar DeRozan Came Out Of Nowhere To Put Ricky Rubio On A Poster With This One-Handed Jam

Ricky Rubio saw the rebound right in front of him. A shot by someone on the Toronto Raptors went up, it bounced off the rim, and all Rubio had to do was corral the ball and initiate a fast break. It’s simple stuff, the kind of thing Rubio has been doing for years.

But while Rubio may seem like he has eyes in the back of his head with some of his dazzling passes, this proved that he does not. DeMar DeRozan came flying out of nowhere to go over the top of Rubio and grab the ball with one hand. While he was up there, he figured it would be cool to thunderously dunk over the Timberwolves’ guard and put an exclamation point on Monday night’s win for the Raptors. DeRozan is no stranger to putting dudes on posters, but this one was something else.

Toronto took down Minnesota, 124-110. DeRozan had 27 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and one massive dunk that will give Rubio nightmares for some time.
