DeMarcus Cousins Tried To Unlock The Mysteries of Joakim Noah’s Free Throw Style

DeMarcus Cousins has questions about Joakim Noah’s free throw shooting style and he isn’t afraid to ask them.

Boogie got to troll the New York Knicks center about his odd technique after watching Noah in action on Friday night. The Knicks broadcast caught video of Cousins raising his hands in disbelief and mimicking the way Noah attempts to score points in the National Basketball Association.

Noah made both free throws in Friday night’s game, and he’s about a 70 percent career shooter from the line. That number, however, has dipped considerably in recent years. He’s shooting just .310 from the stripe this season. The more I watch Noah take free throws the less it actually makes sense. I’m sure seeing it up close is enough to make you wonder what’s going on there.

This isn’t the first time Noah’s, um, unique shooting style has been the butt of an opponent’s jokes. Here’s the Los Angeles Clippers bench trying to figure out what Noah’s doing back in 2012.

It might be the first time anyone’s trolled Noah about it right to his face, though. The good news is that Noah, a noted pacifist, didn’t seem to make much of it.

Just Boogie being Boogie, I guess.
