On Monday, Kyrie Irving appeared on The Big Podcast with Shaquille O’Neal and suggested that a lack of health was all that prevented the Cavaliers from beating the Warriors in the Finals last month. “I feel like we definitely would have won an NBA Championship if we had everyone healthy,” Irving said.
Reactions to that quote ranged from, “He has a point; their second best player on the floor was Matthew Dellavedova,” to, “Yeah, but staying healthy is all a part of winning.”
On Thursday, Draymond Green offered up his opinion, and based on his response, it’s clear which side of the argument he falls.
It might take more than just being five inches taller for Green to become a top three player in the NBA. Then again, when you’re on a championship-winning team, you can pretty much get away with saying anything you want.
