Joel Embiid’s Twitter recruitment of LeBron James failed miserably, but that didn’t stop him from reaching out to another controversial celebrity. Embiid’s latest courtship, however, was far shorter than his proposition of The King. After tweeting an overture to Kim Kardashian, the 20 year-old Philadelphia 76er quickly recanted his plea upon “realizing” the reality star was married.
At 12:37PM:

We’ll miss you on Twitter, Joel, but not as much as we’ll miss you on the court this season. Until your internet pride is restored, do all you can to get healthy as soon as possible. You’re clearly the best rookie tweeter, but we’ve a hunch you could the best player of this draft class, too.
