Madison Square Garden is full of ghosts from season’s past, and if there’s anyone who’s seen them all, it’s Spike Lee. He’s in a new spot for the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot along with Carmelo Anthony, and New York’s hottest new addition, Kristaps Porzingis. Plus, Clyde Frazier shows up, too, because no New York basketball spot is complete without the SAT-word-laden voice of the Knicks (Marv Albert, too, but Clyde’s more stylish and doesn’t have that rug on his dome).

Let’s also note how absolutely terrible Melo is at delivering his lines. Who decided to give him three in this spot? He certainly won’t be getting called for Space Jam 2, if that ever actually, finally happens.

Spike better hope a haunted Garden is at the root of the Knicks’ problems over the past few years, because as good as the rookie was, Porzingis won’t be able to solve them all on his own.
