The Warriors Released An Impressive Hype Video For Their Playoff Redemption Run

This year has been about one thing for the Golden State Warriors: redemption. After blowing a 3-1 lead in the Finals to the Cavs last year and enduring endless 3-1 jokes and people saying their record-setting 73 win regular season didn’t matter, Golden State went out and added Kevin Durant in the offseason and spent the regular season singularly focused on being at their peak for the playoffs.

Durant suffering a leg injury right after the All-Star break called that into question, but he made his return for the final three regular season games. In his absence Steph Curry found his MVP-level of play once again. The Warriors tip off on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. ET against the Trail Blazers, and ahead of the start of their playoff redemption run, they released a hype video to get their fans pumped.

It’s a sweet video, but let’s be honest, if there are any Warriors fans – long-time or recent – that aren’t already jazzed about this year’s playoffs, then I don’t know if a hype video is going to suddenly sway them into excitement. However, it sets the tone for the postseason, where it’s clear that there is only one outcome that will satisfy the organization and its fans: a championship.
