Watch This High Schooler Drill A Miraculous Full-Court Buzzer-Beater In A Playoff Game

It seems like there’s a different absurd buzzer-beater that hits the internet every week. With basically everybody in America carrying around a camera (cell phone) in their pocket, there’s  been outrageous shots captured at every level — from youth leagues, to middle school, to high school, to intramural and everything above that. If there’s an amazing shot to be made, somebody’s most likely going to capture it.

Thankfully, that was the case for this Kentucky high-school playoff game between Ballard and Trinity. Up by three with less than a second left to go on the clock, a Trinity player had the chance to ice the game with a free throw. Instead, he missed the shot and Ballard’s Jake Ramsey ripped down the rebound and chucked a two-handed prayer down the length of the court without hesitation. Somehow, it went in.

Here’s another angle of the incredible shot:

The crowd went absolutely berserk after Ramsey’s game-tying heave, but order was eventually restored and overtime was played. Trinity would ultimately recover and come away victorious in OT, but Ramsey’s heroics weren’t for naught — at least the cameras were there to make sure he got an incredible highlight he can brag about for the rest of his life.
