Jazz Forward Joe Ingles Clapped Back At The Warriors’ Worries About Utah’s Lack Of Nightlife

The Golden State Warriors are massive favorites to advance to the Western Conference Finals and they pretty clearly know it. Prior to tip-off, the No. 1 seed is apparently focused on off-court issues more than things happening on the hardwood, as both Matt Barnes and Andre Iguodala spoke to the lack of nightlife in Salt Lake City as a reason for relative disappointment in facing the Utah Jazz instead of the Los Angeles Clippers.

While that sentiment is both hilarious and at least somewhat disrespectful to the Jazz, that did not stop Utah’s Joe Ingles from responding with tongue firmly planted in cheek.

It is more than 400 miles from Salt Lake City to Las Vegas so making that trek doesn’t exactly seem like the most practical answer. However, Ingles wasn’t done.

Now we’re talking.

The Warriors probably aren’t fleeing to Los Angeles and they almost certainly aren’t driving to Las Vegas in the middle of a playoff series. What Golden State might do, though, is take care of the Jazz so quickly that they’ll have yet another extended break in game action to the point where they could take full advantage of the time off.

Ingles is low-key hilarious (in addition to being a highly valuable player) so it is unlikely that he’s excessively worked up about this, but only the Warriors could approach getting away with this type of bulletin board material. It must be nice to be really good at basketball.
