Justin Bieber Is Back On The Cleveland Bandwagon After Wearing Cavs Shorts At A Concert

It appears that Justin Bieber is back on the LeBron James train. The singer appeared at a concert in South Africa wearing throwback Cleveland Cavaliers shorts on Thursday, a sure sign that he’s favoring the gang from Lake Erie to beat the Golden State Warriors in their inevitable clash in the NBA Finals.

The important image, thanks to a good spot from Bleacher Report.

The move is significant because two months ago, Beiber wore a full Stephen Curry Warriors uniform in a pickup game.

While it’s not surprising that Bieber is a full kit dude, the Curry support came a season after Bieber put his weight behind James and Co. before their second crack at the Warriors in the 2016 NBA Finals.

“I think LeBron is going to do it,” Beiber said at a concert last April at Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena.

The only thing this likely means is that Justin Bieber has a very large collection of sports merchandise. Musicians get all kinds of jerseys and free swag when they perform at a sports team’s home arena, and crowds love the kind of pandering Bieber did in Cleveland last year. Besides, he’s Canadian. Shouldn’t that make him a Raptors fan? Or is Drake too much competition for the global ambassador crown?

The story here is that Justin Bieber is not the most consistent of sports fans. Add it to the list of things he’s not great at, like taking care of pets or actually playing sports. It’s Okay, man. We’re all just out here trying our best.
