DeMarcus Cousins Could Only Laugh After Kanye West ‘Bounced’ From His Sacramento Show

Kanye West, ever the controversial scamp, is at it again. The rapper, fashion mogul, and aspiring biblical icon has reportedly ended his Saint Pablo tour, despite 22 shows remaining on the schedule. This news comes on the heels of the rapper’s bizarre behavior at his recent California concerts, except it’s Kanye we’re talking about, so nothing is really “bizarre” anymore. Still, West shocked fans in Sacramento on Saturday night by showing up late and then ending his show after performing only three songs. They were, of course, treated to a lengthy rant about everyone from Mark Zuckerberg to Beyonce, and the latter naturally invoked the unparalleled wrath of the Bey Hive.

Hell, even Snoop is tired of West’s nonsense, but perhaps the most shocking response of all comes from Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins. As Shaquille O’Neal recently reminded us, Boogie is a notorious “hot head” on the court, so what happened when the No. 1 name in trade rumors realized that he wasn’t getting his money’s worth as he watched West’s show from a luxury box? Eh, no big deal.

Cousins was joined by several of his Kings teammates on Saturday (probably more enjoyable for them than a screening of Moana), and they were a little more upset than their hot-headed leader.

Fortunately, Ticketmaster is taking care of those fans. And, if anything, the Kings should be relieved that West now holds the distinction of being the most disappointing performance at the Golden 1 Center. At least for this week.
