Kendrick Perkins’ Replacement: Celtics Sign 6-11, 210-Pound Center

We mentioned this in passing earlier, but now it’s for real: the Celtics have signed Chris Johnson of the Dakota Wizards, and he’s checking in for the Celtics RIGHT NOW on TNT against the Nuggets.

Blazer fans are probably already familiar with the 6-11, 210-pound center, as Johnson was first called up by Portland on Jan. 24 after averaging 16.9 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.8 blocks in the D-League. Also, diehard Celtics fans might remember that Johnson was also in Celtics training camp in October.

What do you think? Who else will the Celtics add?
