Watch Kobe Bryant Hilariously Steal A High-Five From Draymond Green In ‘NBA 2K16’

On Friday, NBA 2K16 finally arrived for the adoring public. People who pre-ordered the game will spend the weekend in front of their TV, controlling the movements of Steph, Brow and Beard while America’s parents silently wonder if their kids will ever pick up a book (they won’t, everyone reads on a tablet now, if they read at all).

While 2K’s final trailer already covered some of the intricate realism in the game, there’s still so much to discover. There are so many new additions to the MyCareer mode, which allows gamers to further immerse themselves in the life of a baller without actually being a baller — or to act as one online, which is where most people spend their time these days. (And we’re not complaining, since it means you’re reading us.)

Since people have already started to play, little quirks of the game have begun to populate online gaming forums and Twitter. One such maneuver in the game features Kobe Bryant stepping in front of Draymond Green to give a high-five to Harrison Barnes, after Barnes knocks down a free throw.

Perhaps this supposed glitch is only contained within the Lakers franchise? As we know, Nick Young has been guilty of the very same move; although, we’re not sure the Swaggy clip is from this year’s version of the game. And Varejao and LeBron do end up giving each other DAP, while in the Kobe sequence, Barnes and Green never got a chance to actually slap five.

Regardless of the discrepancy or similarities between the two moments in the game, this is totally something Kobe would do. Or at least, he’d do it if he thought it would stick in the craw of Barnes and Green. Remember, he’s been calling himself the Black Mamba all these years for a reason.
