Kris Dunn May Need Dental Work After This Scary Fall

The Bulls fought hard against the Warriors on Wednesday night, but came up short in a 119-112 loss at home to the reigning champs. The loss was far from disappointing, as Chicago hung tough with the Warriors in a much better performance than many would have expected from them, but unfortunately for both teams, they saw a young promising player go down with a nasty looking injury.

Warriors rookie center Jordan Bell went down in the opening minute with a left ankle sprain that forced him to be carted off the floor in a wheelchair, with an MRI coming tomorrow.

Late in the fourth quarter, the Bulls saw second-year point guard Kris Dunn leave the game after a rough fall of his own. However, where Bell landed awkwardly on his ankle, Dunn fell directly onto his face after a dunk in one of the strangest and scariest falls in recent memory.

Dunn was bleeding from his face following the fall and eventually walked off to the locker room with the trainers. Vincent Goodwill of NBC Sports Chicago noted it appeared as though a piece of Dunn’s tooth was still on the sidelines.

Dunn didn’t lose any teeth in the fall, but did chip a few, per coach Fred Hoiberg, and was being evaluated for a concussion.
