Kyle Lowry Answering Post-Game Questions While Watching Villanova Is The Pinnacle Of Multitasking

After the Toronto Raptors dispatched of the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday night, Kyle Lowry took his normal seat in the locker room to answer post-game questions from a throng of assembled media members. Just one problem: His Villanova Wildcats were going back and forth with the Kansas Jayhawks in an Elite Eight matchup on the television directly in front of him.

Would the Raptors star point guard shirk his league-mandated interview to keep a full eye on his alma mater? Or take a few minutes from watching Villanova try to reach its the Final Four for the first time since 2009?

Neither, of course. For a seasoned league veteran with the basketball mind of Lowry, receiving questions and providing thoughtful answers while focusing attention on the television across the room was no problem at all. Did you really expect him not to be good at multitasking? How else could he survey the floor in ball-screen situations while looking for his own shot?

The best part of the video above, obviously, is when Lowry breaks from interview character and apologizes for “not really being into this right now” then gives a perfectly acceptable response to the following question while pleading with officials to call a charge in the Villanova game. What a pro.

It’s a good thing his session was over by the time Nova-KU reached crunch time, though. We doubt Lowry was able to keep such composure while watching the Wildcats scratch their way to the Final Four with a nail-biting victory over the Jayhawks.
