LeBron James Cuts Behind Carmelo Anthony To Finish Off The Knicks With A Nasty Dunk

It was tough sledding early for LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Things got so bad, actually, that LeBron tried to rip the sleeves off his jersey in frustration. It must have worked because the Cavs finished strong and flipped an early 15-point deficit into a 96-86 victory over the New York Knicks.

It was LeBron who delivered the dagger, too, when he dashed behind a ball-watching Carmelo Anthony and got a running start for a massive dunk that no Knick dared to contest.

It was a rough night shooting for ‘Bron as he went 9-23, but he still paced the Cavs with 23 points – including 11 in the fourth quarter when the game hung in the balance. His counterpart, ‘Melo, only managed two points in the final stanza. The lifetime head-to-head record between the two friends now evens up at 12 wins a piece.
