There’s A Chance We Might See Lonzo Ball’s Big Baller Brand Shoe In NBA2K

The most controversial sneaker in the game right now belongs to Lonzo Ball. The former UCLA guard and projected top-5 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft released the ZO2 Prime through his dad’s company, Big Baller Brand. They retail for $495, which is … well, that’s more than most people probably want to pay for sneakers, as we’ve learned from the way the shoe has sold.

But what if there was a way to acquire the sneakers without having to spend nearly $500? What if all it will cost you is the price of a video game? Uproxx Sports has learned that we may see the ZO2 Prime in the upcoming version of NBA2K, which comes out in September.

According to a 2K rep, “We do our best to ensure that each shoe worn by NBA athletes is made available in NBA2K.”

The NBA2K games are revered for the fact that you can get a ton of footwear options. Obviously getting the ZO2 Primes in there would be next level, both because they’re such an exclusive sneaker and because it would mean Ball would get his signature kicks into the game before he ever even plays in the NBA.

Only time will tell if this fantasy ends up becoming a reality. All we know is that the negotiations between LaVar Ball and 2K Sports would probably be hilarious.
