Mike Conley Gets Steal, Leaves Behind-The-Back Dish To Tony Allen For Dagger Dunk

The Chicago Bulls weren’t exactly on verge of a late-game comeback against the Memphis Grizzlies, but Tom Thibodeau’s team had life nonetheless. There’s nothing the Grit ‘N Grind crew does better than suck the life out of opponents, though, and Mike Conley and Tony Allen did just that to seal a key Memphis road win.

Watch Conley in the play above. See how he nearly swipes Aaron Brooks’ dribble before passing the Bulls’ point guard off to Zach Randolph? Once he does, Conley immediately scampers to Tony Snell at the arc – the man Allen left to help the helping Randolph. This is team defense at it’s absolute best; the slick finish is just icing on the cake.

Conley and Allen combined for eight(!) steals in the Grizzlies’ 101-91 win over the Bulls.
