Rudy Gobert Started An International Incident With This Poster Jam On Kristaps Porzingis

The Utah Jazz moved to 4-3 with their victory over the Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Sunday afternoon, and the big news was Gordon Hayward making his season debut with a cool 28 points in the win, half of which came off of free-throws, where he went 14-of-14 from the line.

But it was Rudy Gobert who had the highlight of the game when he posterized Kristaps Porzingis in the lane with a vicious facial dunk. Gobert finished with 13 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks. George Hill added 23 points and nine assists, while Rodney Hood chipped in 18 points and six rebounds. Veteran guard Joe Johnson came off the bench to contribute 10 points on the day.

Despite ending up on the wrong end of that highlight, Porzingis had his best game of the young season so far: 28 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks, on 55.6 shooting from the field overall and 42.9 percent from behind the arc. Carmelo Anthony also finished with 28 points in a losing effort. Derrick Rose added 18 points, 12 of which came in the fourth quarter, to go along with eight assists. New York fell to 2-4 on the season with the loss. They’ll host crosstown rivals the Brooklyn Nets next on Wednesday at MSG.
