Avery Bradley has popped up as a player who could potentially get moved before Thursday’s NBA trade deadline. Bradley, formerly of the Detroit Pistons and now with the Los Angeles Clippers, would fill a massive need for a team that needs a potential 3-and-D player in its backcourt. Add in the fact that he’s on an expiring contract and only makes $8.8 million, and he’s an affordable option for a contender to pursue.
Apparently, the San Antonio Spurs are among the teams that would be interested in seeing what Bradley could bring to the table. Marc Stein of the New York Times tweeted out that San Antonio looks to be on the list of suitors for the veteran guard.
As Stein noted, though, the Clippers want to get a first-round pick back in exchange for Bradley, which is a steep asking price.
