Boban Marjanovic Dunked On Three Thunder Players And Didn’t Even Jump

The 7-foot-3 Boban Marjanovic has given us some unique moments this NBA season. Now, it’s time to add another one to the list.

The fun of this play isn’t that Boban actually got a chance to play in the first quarter with the Spurs resting just about everyone who could possibly be rested for Saturday night’s game against the Thunder. It’s not even that the 27-year-old rookie dunked on three guys. It’s his demeanor as he does it.

First, he jumps prematurely. It doesn’t matter. He’s so tall and so long that his non-jump actually out-jumps everyone else’s real jumps.

Then, he brings the ball down, a total no-no for any big man in traffic, let alone a big man who makes big men look like small men. That doesn’t matter either.

Then, it’s almost as if he decides to dunk as he simultaneously chooses not to jump, like he’s telling Serge Ibaka, Steven Adams and Andre Roberson, “You’re not worth my energy” as he slams on all three of them at once.

The non-jump doesn’t matter once again.

Boban for president.
