Steph Curry Somehow Drilled A Shot While Laying On His Back

“This will not count,” says Kevin Harlan milliseconds before Steph Curry made a shot that will forever count in our hearts.

Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors hosted the Houston Rockets on Thursday night and Curry was up to his usual shenanigans of putting the basketball through the hoop at remarkable angles. This one came in the third quarter after a Patrick Beverley foul on the floor, which sent Curry stumbling to the ground.

It was not an and-one, but look at where Curry was when he got the shot off. It’s crazy.

I know you wouldn’t believe me just from looking at this screencap but the ball totally goes in the hoop I swear.

Steph has had his fair share of insane shots go in over the years, but this one might be my new favorite. It’s a casual prayer that gets answered with ease. What else can he do at this point? Score by trying to throw it directly in the crowd? Score off another player’s body? Score officially registered points while sitting on the bench? Can Steph Curry score by proxy? I’d believe anything.

No one even watched the ball go in! I know the play was dead, but I don’t care. How are you not following every ball that Steph lets leave his hands? How did that go in? How?

Later in the game he hit this shot on the move. It actually counted, but he was mostly standing which makes it significantly less impressive in my mind.

Curry making stupid shots is nothing new, but it doesn’t make it any less remarkable when it happens. Which these days is basically every night the Warriors play.
