Do Not Attempt Steph Curry’s Warmup Handles Unless You Wanna Hurt Yourself

Steph Curry is very good at basketball. He is so good, in fact, that he was named MVP last season, and he spearheaded a group who brought a championship back to the Bay for the first time in more than 40 years. This season, Curry leads the NBA in scoring at 29.3 points per game and is third in steals at 2.2 per game. He’s become an all-around weapon and not the elite specialist.

So, it should surprise no one that he’s incredible to watch when no one is trying to stop him. A fan captured video of Curry during pregame warmups Tuesday putting on a ball-handling display that concluded with the sort of reverse layup you try in pickup games with your friends that gets you left out of the following week’s game.

The only criminal part of that video is the video itself; it’s 2016 and we are still shooting videos vertically on our phones, it seems. Turn that phone sideways, everyone.

These pregame displays are nothing new for Curry, who can also do some things on the court, as well. Everyone associates Curry with pull-up 3-pointers from different area codes, but he uses his handle to get to the rim with great ease.

Although, those long-range bombs are pretty fun, too.
