Steph Curry Went All Curly Neal On Jordan Clarkson Saturday Night

We already knew Steph Curry has one of the best handles in the NBA, but this is getting ridiculous. During a preseason game against the Lakers Saturday night, Curry was seemingly bored with his already-otherworldly ball-handling skills, so he decided to go full-on Curly Neal-era Globetrotters against Jordan Clarkson before draining a three-pointer in his grill.

Curry had 19 points in just over 22 minutes of action, going 7-of-13 from the field, including 5-of-10 from downtown. Clarkson, likewise, was the high scorer for Los Angeles with 17 points on an absurdly-efficient 7-of-9 shooting as he led the Lakers to an 85-70 victory.

This particular exhibition game was played in San Diego at the Valley View Casino Center, and in a rather bizarre turn of events, had to be called off with about two minutes remaining in the third quarter after ice that collected below the court rendered the playing surface dangerously slippery.

In addition to Clarkson’s stellar play, Julius Randle got in on the action as well with 14 points on 50 percent shooting from the floor. He also blessed us with the most meme-worthy moment of the night: after driving the lane and drawing a foul on Draymond Green, Randle could be seen mouthing “he can’t guard me” several times as he made his way to the free-throw line.
