If you thought that the numbers posted during the Most Valuable Regular Season MVP debate, Rookie of the Year question, and Defensive Player of the Year discussion were ridiculous, brace yourself for some unbelievable stats.

We’re looking at the greatest performances in the last thirty years of the NBA Finals – and seriously this one can’t just be written off to Michael Jordan. ESPN’s John Hollinger did a superb analysis of all Finals MVP’s this summer, and according to his Player Efficiency Rating, he determined that Dwyane Wade‘s ’05-06 Finals MVP performance was the best ever.
